Jimi Hendrix Starting His Career

     Hendrix went to Garfield High School in Seattle Washington. He was exposed to different varietys of music when he was 15 years old in high school. Then he got his first ever acoustic guitar for 5 dollars from his father. Hendrix had no expirence with the guitar, he would learn by watching other people play it and listen to records. Also got advice from other players. But in 1959, Hendrix dropped out of highschool and joined the army to avoid a jail sentence from driving in stolen cars, that he gotten in trouble twice for. Well in the army, he met a soldier Billy Cox, who was also a bass player. Shortly they formed a band called "King Kasuals". Hendrix lived his normal life after the army playing music full time tourimg the United States. He then started a band called "The Jimi Hendrix Expiernece", he sang and played the guitar.
